Local Leagues

Most Shropshire clubs compete with each other throughout the year in the county leagues, as well as organising internal club competitions and social events. Competitions at local club level are a great way for players to make friends, improve their matchplay and make lasting friendships though tennis.

Your local club or coach can give you more information about singles, doubles, and mixed doubles leagues.

Tennis Shropshire Summer League sponsored by Head

The 2026 Summer League runs from 1st April to 31st August and composes of 10 men's divisions and 9 ladies', each with 6 teams within them.

The league is managed through the LTA Competition Platform and the link to the league can be found below, along with the Team Captain guide for using the competition platform.

Shropshire Sunday Night Leagues

This 3 division indoor league from 6-8pm, runs most of the year round and is based across Telford Tennis and Padel Centre and the Cathie Sabin Community Tennis Centre. It involves 2 men and 2 ladies and one match played each month. £150 per team (cost of £7.50 per person per match).
