ITF World Tennis Tour

The Shrewsbury Club are once again hosting the World Tennis Tour with a prestigious ladies tournament. Starting on 12th October and taking in a number of events along the way, the week will end with the doubles and singles finals on Sunday 20th.

This event won the LTA performance tournament of the year in 2022 and saw Marketa Vondrousava lift the trophy which obviously set her up well for her subsequent victory at Wimbledon.

They are expecting a high number of entries once again and tickets are on sale for the event through the ITF website.

In addition to the tournament itself there will be a quiz night on the evening of Wednesday 16th October. Friday night sees the ultimate Shrewsbury Club party. It's a dress up evening of dining, wining and dancing to one of Shropshire's top live bands, plus there's an after dinner speaker.
